BLOOD PRESSURE RANGE MONITOR
A blood pressure range monitor generally differs according to age, daily activity and stress levels. Man's blood pressure naturally changes according to his daily activities. It is typically higher during day time than during night time when you sleep. In blood pressure reading, both the systolic pressure and diastolic pressure are measured. The systolic pressure is the maximum pressure in an artery at the moment when the heart is beating and pumping blood throughout the body. While on the other hand, diastolic pressure is considered as the lowest pressure in an artery in the moments between beats when the heart is resting. Both of these pressure measurements are important. If one of them is raised, it indicates that you have high blood pressure.

It is noted that blood pressures must be checked at least once every after two years. It is measured by a quick and painless procedure which uses a medical instrument called sphygmomanometer. A documented blood pressure reading is reported as two numbers. For example, “140 over 90” and it is written as 140/90. The higher number is the systolic pressure while the lower number is called diastolic pressure.

For a normal blood pressure, the systolic reading should be less than 120 while the diastolic reading is less than 80. Pre hypertension blood pressure, the systolic reading is 120 – 139 and the diastolic reading is 80 – 89. Stage I hypertension blood pressure, the systolic reading is 140 – 159 and the diastolic reading is 90 – 99. For stage II hypertension blood pressure, systolic reading is 160 and higher and the diastolic reading is 100 and higher.
